Melina Grützner

Melina believes that yoga shouldn’t make oneself feel better, special or superior but rather in touch with the world. She has explored and is educated in various yoga styles but mostly is an eager practitioner and student of the Ashtanga Yoga method which - since it came into her life in 2019 - hasn’t stopped fascinating her. Through the steady, meditative pattern of the practice she discovered great peace and a way to conquer every day life challenges.
She won’t pretend to know everything about yoga but believes that a good teacher will forever stay a student : by meeting every person exactly where they’re at and staying humble through a dedicated, daily practice.
She is eager to encourage you to meet your tapas (discipline, burning off impurities), practice patience and dedication while always respecting the body’s and mind’s boundaries.
Exploring yoga is for everyone. It is innocent, curious, non-competitive, awake, fearless and accepting.

Class discriptions:

DONNERSTAG 9:00
Ashtanga Half Primary 75 min

This class is inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga Led primary series. It includes the half primary series plus a few more accessible asana from the full Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. We maintain the sequence but practice less so as we have the stamina and then focus on key asanas. This class is meant for people with a regular practice, including a higher rhythm and intensity.

DIENSTAG 7:30
Ashtanga Flow 60 min

This class is inspired by the Ashtanga Yoga Led half primary series. Half Primary series is a short form of the Full Primary Ashtanga yoga series (around 30 minutes less). By reducing the time of practice, we can practice a short form of the primary series. We maintain the sequence but practice less so as we have the stamina and then focus on key asanas. This class is meant for people with a regular practice, including a higher rhythm and intensity.

Everybody is welcome.
